The ITALIAN NATIONAL SPORTS ASSOCIATION (abbreviated to E.N.S.I.) is an organization for the promotion of sports, education, social services, and welfare.

E.N.S.I. was established in 1999, and was officially established on November 27, 2002, by Notary Dr. Fabio TORINA of Rome. Subsequently, on January 11, 2003, the 2nd Extraordinary National Elective Assembly was held in Frascati (RM), which elected the National President and the Statutory Bodies. On September 5, 2003, pursuant to the Transitional Rule of the Statute, the National President made the amendments requested by the Ministry of Labor by official deed executed by Notary Dr. DI CAPRIO. On March 27, 2004, the 3rd Extraordinary National Elective Assembly met in Frascati (RM). The National President and the Statutory Bodies were elected, who will serve for a four-year Olympic term.

The E.N.S.I. has carried out the aforementioned activities since 1999, affiliating with various Sports Promotion Bodies.

In recent years, the E.N.S.I. has received various awards from institutional bodies. Thanks to the goodwill of last year's Sponsor and, above all, the self-financing of its members, the organization's activities are continually growing, both in terms of membership and individual membership.

The magazine "E.N.S.I. NOTIZIE" was available at newsstands, increasingly qualified and already distributed in thousands of copies to all affiliated sports clubs and clubs, which numbered over 2,700 in Italy as of 2019, with 16 Regional Committees, 48 ​​Provincial Committees, and numerous Municipal Committees.

Regarding social promotion activities, E.N.S.I. already has 16 Regional Trustees, 48 ​​Provincial Trustees, and 30 Foreign Committees.

Sporting activity is constantly growing.

E.N.S.I. promotes every sport, with over 110,000 members participating in all disciplines, from soccer to athletics, from skiing to volleyball, from yoga to five-a-side football, darts, checkers, chess, bridge, billiards, table tennis, horseback riding, rallying, and many other activities.

With equal commitment, E.N.S.I. promotes the activities of the "Civil Protection," "Volunteering," "Social," "Cultural," and "Artistic" sectors, not forgetting to organize and sponsor events, conventions, conferences, and exhibitions.
